Hey everybody, Cooper here from etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima EXO system, including our enclosed cargo box and our cargo basket here on our 2022 Dodge Durango. Now the EXO system is going to be a very customizable platform that has a lot of different attachments to suit your needs. And the configuration that we have here today, it is really just set up for carrying as much cargo as we can, in addition to what we can fit into our Durango. Now in this specific configuration, our box on the bottom is going to have a capacity of 100 pounds, and our basket here up top is going to have a capacity of 80 pounds. Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video

And today, we have the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier that's 60 inches by 22 inches, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. So right off the bat, if you need a lot of cargo space, but you don't wanna have to deal with a lot of weight, this is gonna be a great cargo carrier for that. This is gonna be one of our larger aluminum cargo carriers, so with you having all that space, because it's made of aluminum, it's also lighter and easier to install. But depending on how you install it though, it might be a little tricky, because the Dodge Grand Caravan has a bumper that sticks out over here, so you're gonna have to like reach around the carrier to get into place and make sure that all that is tightened down. So that is something to be mindful of. more

Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video

Hi, Matt with etrailer. And today we're gonna be talking about the Swagman Expanse Cargo Carrier on the back of a 2022 Dodge Durango. This carrier can support about 400 pounds which is a little bit less than some of our other options. So when I stand up here trying to stand in the center not on the mesh itself, the vehicle kind of goes down a little bit, but not too much. So I think it's gonna perform pretty well with this cargo carrier. As for the mesh, if you put weight down on it directly, you're gonna notice a lot more give than if it was gonna be on the bar itself. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango- Video

Hi Matt here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about our Flint Hills good aluminum cargo carrier on the back of the 2022 Dodge Durango. As for the capabilities of this cargo carrier, it's about a medium sized cargo carrier that can handle about 500 pounds. So if I get in the back of it, I'm about 250 pounds, just under, and the vehicle barely shifts down, so the vehicle handles it very nicely as well. As for putting anything inside the cargo carrier, the walls are pretty short on it, they're pretty shallow, so this would be a great cargo carrier for anything like bags or anything that might kind of spill over just a little bit. As for the dimensions, it's gonna be about 48 inches in an interior of the width, just over 21 inches for the length, and then on the bottom here we have just under 12 inches. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Dodge Durango FHG27ZR- Video

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier on the 2022 Dodge Durango. This medium-sized cargo carrier is gonna be able to handle 500 pounds. So that's perfect if you have anything heavy you wanna keep outside your vehicle and not inside the back. If I get inside of it, you can see I'm just under 250 pounds, and that's handling pretty well. Now, if we look at the dimensions of it, the width is gonna be about 47 1/4 inches, and the length is gonna be about 20 1/2 inches, depth just under six inches. As for tie down, tying anything down, now, really, we have a lot of spots that work great for that, you know, like even this aluminum is still gonna be, is still really sturdy. more

So as you can see it is going to be able to fit in a smaller space compared to other cargo carriers and that's going to be the main feature of this one here, whether it's just taking up less space in your garage or just having that option of adding a bunch of cargo storage to your van here just because it can fit a lot of different passengers and they probably got a bunch of gear whenever you're going to either sporting events or just a vacation. So this is going to be a pretty, pretty good choice for any of those heavier wheeled items that you need to get from point A to point B.Whether it be, let's say a couple mowers or even a powered wheelchair, whatever it is, you're going to be able to load this onto the carrier with this ramp. It is an aluminium design, so it's extremely, extremely light. So all you've got to really do to get this ramp out is just pull this little pin here. It's going to release, and you're going to be able to fold this to the side and then ramp anything up that you possibly would need.This ramp does stick out about 48 inches from our cargo carrier here. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2010 Dodge Journey c18110- Video

Today on our 2010 Dodge Journey we're going to be test fitting a 20 by 48 CURT cargo carrier with a 300 pound capacity. Now we're going to take a few quick measurements. Overall the cargo carrier is going to add right about 29" to the overall length of the vehicle. Now the closest point to the ground, is going to be right about 11-1/2". The closest point to the vehicle is going to be right about 10". Now if you stack a lot of things on your cargo carrier, the clearance for the hatch is going to be right about 27". Now the cargo carrier does work with 2" and 1-1/4" hitches and it does come with an anti-rattle bolt and pin, which will keep some of this noise going down the road. more

MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video

Today on this 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow 30x50 Wheelchair Carrier with a 48" Long Ramp for 2" Hitches, part number MT70106. We already have our carrier installed onto our vehicle, and this does have a 500-pound carrying capacity, and it has mesh flooring both here as well as the ramp, which is going to make it easy to clean. Also, we have these points on the front, back, and side, and that's going to serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps or bungee cords when you're putting your wheelchair, or your lawnmower, whatever it is you're hauling. Once you're ready to either unload or load up your wheelchair, you have to lower the ramp first. To do that, you have these pins right here that are holding the braces up to keep it in this position. To take them out, you just remove the pin first, then our clip here, like so. We're actually going to lift it up to this point here, and secure it up here so it doesn't just fly around, and reinsert our clip. We'll do the same on the other side as well. more

MaxxTow Wheelchair Carrier with Ramp Review - 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video

Today on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow 30 x 50 wheelchair carrier with a 60-inch-long ramp, for two-inch hitches only, part number MT702460. This is what the carrier's going to look like once it's installed on your vehicle. Right now we have it in the position you would have it if you're actually hauling your wheelchair or whatever it is you're carrying in your carrier. This does have a 500-pound carrying capacity. It has this mesh flooring here, as well as the ramp, and that's going to make it easier to clean. We also have tie-down points all around the cargo carrier for your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. We also have reflectors on the end as well. Let's go ahead and show you how it unfolds. more

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video

Today on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be test fitting the 20x48 Curt cargo carrier for 1.25 in and 2 in hitches, part number C18110. This has a carrying capacity of 300 lbs. We have this nice mesh floor here which is going to make it easier to clean. At the front and around the sides, we have these points here which are going to serve as tie-down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. The exhaust is going to be on the passenger side of the vehicle and it does face down away from the cargo carrier, and thanks to its raised shank, which is going to improve clearance issues between the cargo carrier itself and the ground, you're not going to have to worry about heat sensitive material once you're loading that up. With it in this position right now, we do have full access to our rear hatch to get anything we need. However, I am going to go ahead and give you a break over point measurement and that's going to be the point where your hatch would come into contact with whatever it is you're hauling. more

Today on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be test fitting the 24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches, part number C18152. This has a carrying capacity of 500 pounds. It has this nice mesh floor here which makes it very easy to clean. We also have this rail here, all the way around the cargo carrier, and that can serve as tie-down point for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. It does have a raised shank to it, so your clearance will not be an issue, as far as from the cargo carrier to the ground. We do have a tail pipe here on the passenger side, however, it is pointed down, away from the cargo carrier, and thanks to the height of the cargo carrier, you're not going to have to worry about any heat-sensitive materials once you're loading things up. I'm going to go ahead and give you a couple quick measurements now. Starting with the edge of the bumper to our outer edge, we've added about 33" to the rear of the vehicle. more

Today on our 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 we're doing a test fit of the Max Tow 48 by 21 Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. Now, this is designed to work with two inch hitches and have a 500 pound weight capacity. Although it does have a pretty high weight capacity, it is very light weight. It's made out of an aluminum, so it's easy to insert and take out of your hitch. First thing we want to do is take a few measurements. Ground clearance being first, we're going to have about 21 inches. Overall, to our vehicle we're going to have about 28 1/4 inches. more

Today on our 2010 Dodge Caravan, we will be taking a look at the Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier. That's a 23 x 60 inch cargo carrier with 2 inch hitches only. It has a 500 lb weight capacity. As you can see, the cargo carrier is already installed here on the rear of our Dodge Grand Caravan. It is a sizable cargo carrier, like I said, it's the 23 inches here and the 60 inches across the vehicle.
